Description

Nos. 7 and 9 Church Street are a pair of houses dating from the early to mid-19th century, built in the Cottage Ornée style. They are constructed of engraved stucco, with two storeys and four sash windows, each set within a shaped surround. The lower windows have channelled lintels, and a sill band runs along the front. Number 7 has a plain doorway with a six-panelled door, while Number 9 features a slated and gabled porch with elaborately carved bargeboards and a finial. Projecting eaves and slates complete the exterior.
