Description
This sundial, located approximately 70 metres east of Roveries Hall, dates from 1760, although it is likely made from previously unassociated parts. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a central unfluted Corinthian column that supports a square dial head with a globe finial on top. Surrounding the base is a circular seat, which is supported by four bulbous baluster legs and has four curved armrests, each carved with lions. The sundial was imported from Odiham in Hampshire in the mid to late 20th century.
