GV II

House, now school house. c1790, with C20 extension. Possibly by Thomas Telford. Brick with Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 7-window range, 2-3-2, extended c1930 by an additional range to the right. Main entrance now in return elevation of this addition, and corridor to rear of principal rooms. Stone porch with Ionic shafts and balustrading. Small subsidiary doorway to right of central range. Centre marked by projecting bow window with full-height casements, and balustrading over. It is flanked by full-height casement windows, all lighting long narrow drawing room. 2-pane sash windows in flanking blocks and above. Stuccoed cornice and parapet. Axial stacks.
