Description

York Cottage is an early 19th-century house located on the Roman Road in Shrewsbury. It is a brick building with a Welsh slate roof. Originally designed with a symmetrical 3-window façade and a central door, it was subsequently extended to create a 4-window range. The front features a panelled door with an overlight, set within a simple moulded architrave, and 12-pane sash windows with cambered brick heads. Brick stacks are located at the ends of the building.
