Description
Priory House is a house, now used as a school, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys over a basement and a three-window range, with the outer bays slightly advanced. A wide central doorcase leads up steps to a six-panelled door, topped by a traceried fanlight that spans broad architraves on either side. The windows are 12-pane sash types with flat-arched gauged brick heads, and there is a blind painted area on the lower left. To the right, there is a two-storeyed wing with a single-window range. The eaves are plain and oversailing, and there are paired axial stacks with dentilled caps.
