Description

This is a milestone located in Marshbrook, dating from the late 18th century or 19th century. It is made of sandstone and measures approximately 0.8 meters high, 0.6 meters wide, and 0.15 meters thick. The milestone features a shallow tympanum and is inscribed with the text: "MILES / B CASTLE 8 / M BROOK 1".
