Description
The Round House is a building that was originally a school, constructed around 1790. It is made of sandstone rubble and features an octagonal roof covered with 20th-century composite tiles. At the center, there is a dressed stone circular chimney stack with decorative bands and a 20th-century brick superstructure.
The building has two storeys and includes 20th-century windows and a door. The ground-floor windows are adorned with ashlar hoodmoulds, and there is a chain retaining band at the first-floor level along with an ashlar eaves band. The porch has a 20th-century roof, door, and light. Inside, there are 20th-century radiating partition walls.
