Description
The Horse Shoe Inn is a house that has been converted into an inn, likely built in the late 18th century and altered and extended in the mid 19th century. The exterior is roughcast, hiding a timber frame with brick infill, while the mid 19th century extension to the left is made of rubblestone. The building features a graded slate roof with an integral brick end stack on the left side. It has two storeys and four windows, including one from the 19th century addition. All windows are late 19th century metal casements with Gothic glazing. There is a six-panel door, with the upper panels now glazed, set in a plain 19th century doorcase between the first and second windows from the right. There is also a subsidiary entrance from the 20th century to the left. The interior is not considered to be of special interest.
