Description
White Hall is a house dating from the late 18th century, though it is said to incorporate an earlier timber-framed structure, with later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of plastered brick and features a concrete tile roof with wide verges and integral end stacks that have been rebuilt in yellow brick. It originally had an L-shaped plan, with lower mid-19th century additions at the rear. The house stands three storeys tall and has a three-window front, with all windows being glazing bar sashes (16-paned on the ground and first floors). The central entrance features a 20th-century glazed door with a rectangular overlight, sheltered by a small, slightly projecting Doric porch that includes a moulded entablature and triglyphs.
