OSWESTRY RURAL C.P. A 483 (east side) Kitchen garden wall to south-east of Sweeney Hall and connecting wall to barn on north

Kitchen garden wall and attached wall to north. Late C18. Red brick with stone coping. Encloses square garden area of approximately 80m x 80m. Rounded corners; segmental-headed entrances on south, east and west beneath round-cornered brick projections with thin flat stone lintels. 2 heating flues on north side also serve as chimneys for fireplaces in range of attached stone and brick outbuildings. Short attached spur of wall to north with stone coping, ramped down to gates, terminates in small gabled building adjoining barn (q.v.).
