Description
The stables, dated 1720, are attached to Wheat Hall by a short brick wall. They are constructed of red brick on a sandstone rubble plinth and feature a plain tile roof with crow-step gables. The building has two levels, with blocked segmental-headed windows on the left and right, and a small fixed-light window to the left of the center. A datestone reading "WD/1720" is located below the eaves at the center. The short red brick wall connecting the stables to Wheat Hall has a moulded stone coping.
