Description

This is a village pump and associated wall, dating from the mid- to late 19th century. The pump is made of painted cast iron and is set within a recess formed by sandstone rubble walls. It features a plain shaft with a splayed spout, a fluted top, and a curved handle. There is also a cast maker's plate on the pump. This structure is included as a notable example of a village pump.
