Description

Yew Tree House is a house dated 1775, constructed from red brick and featuring a plain tile roof. It has an L-shaped plan, with two storeys and a gable-lit attic. The building is adorned with a dentil brick eaves cornice and has a central brick eaves stack. The front has two windows, which are 19th-century wooden cross-casements with segmental heads. A central datestone with moulded weathering is inscribed with "TF/RL/1775". To the right, there is a late 19th-century lean-to porch that is set back, featuring a segmental-headed boarded door on the left-hand return front. At the rear, there is a one-storey wing with an integral brick end stack.
