Description
Aston Hall is a 18th century red brick house that features a 16th or 17th century timber-framed wing at the rear, which is also faced in red brick. The building has tiled roofs with gabled ends and is two stories tall with an attic, consisting of five bays. There is a brick string course at the first floor level adorned with moulded brick modillions. The ground floor has tall late 19th century three-light windows set in segmental arched openings. To the right of the center, there is a moulded doorcase with a late 19th century gabled brick porch. The end walls have blind segmental arched windows, and there is a large brick stack at the rear. Inside, both sections of the house feature stopped chamfered ceiling beams. There is a late 17th or early 18th century open well staircase that connects all floors, complete with a moulded handrail and string, turned balusters, and square newels.
