Description
No. 5 St Mary's Lane is an early 19th-century building constructed from painted brick and rubble. It stands two storeys tall and features a simple partly-glazed door set in a tall pointed arched recess, flanked by small pointed side lights in pointed arched recesses. This arrangement is topped by a slight moulded cornice resembling an open pediment. Above the door, there is a recessed pointed window located at the centre. The building is capped with a curved stepped gable and has plain pilasters on either side, making it a modest but attractive example of its period.
