Description

Aston Cottage is an early to mid-19th century red brick building. The central section is advanced and gabled. The cottage has three sash windows. A moulded wooden doorcase frames a six-fielded-panel door, accompanied by side lights and topped by a square fanlight with radial tracery. Distinctive bold eaves and brick stacks are present, along with slate roofing. Original iron railings, including a gate, enclose the front garden. The building possesses group value from its contribution to the character of the area.
