Description
The Lodge of Ludstone Hall is a building from the mid to late 19th century, designed in a Jacobean style that complements the main hall. It is constructed from red brick with stone dressings and has an L-shaped plan. The lodge is single-storeyed and features shaped, stone-coped gables topped with ball-head finials and quoins. The south gable includes a six-light mullioned and transomed window set within a projecting stone architrave, which has a moulded cornice adorned with scrollwork. There are two arched doorways, and the building is accented by clustered brick stacks positioned diagonally, sprocket eaves, and tiled roofing.
