Description

The garden walls, gate piers, and gates of Ludstone Hall date from the mid to late 19th century. They consist of coursed sandstone rubble walls that enclose the south, east, and west sides of the gardens and flank the main drive. At the entrance, there are four ashlar piers, each topped with cornice caps and acorn finials. On either side of the entrance, there is a balustrade featuring open strapwork, along with a pair of restored wrought-iron gates.
