Description
King's Head Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a plain tile roof and features rubble end stacks with brick chimneys. The building is symmetrical, with two storeys and an attic, and has a three-window range. The windows are tripartite with metal lattice glazing and are set beneath stone drip-courses. There are three gable dormers, each with two-light metal lattice glazed windows, and the gables have stone coped parapets with corbelled stone kneelers.
At the center of the house is a stone porch that has a moulded arch and a gable with kneelers above it. The entrance features a four-panel door within a moulded case and architrave. To the right of the main structure is a two-storey wing made of brick and rubble, along with a projecting single-storey rubble wing that has a central brick ridge stack. This wing includes lattice glazed windows under drip-courses and 20th-century plank doors. The rear of the house also has three gable dormers.
