House and adjoining outbuilding. C18 or early C19. Stone rubble; outbuilding is weatherboarded timber-frame. Thatched roof with gabled ends, clad in corrugated iron sheets. Gable end stack with brick shaft. 2-room plan with central entrance, the left room heated from gable end stack: outshuts across the back and at left end. Integral stable at right end built of weatherboarded timber-frame. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2-window front with very small casements, that on ground floor left is a larger 2-light casement next to central doorway with plank door. Small single-storey outshut on left end with plank door and brick stack. Main roof continues over weatherboarded stable on right with lean-to roof on gable end. Main roof at rear is carried down as catslide over rear outshut. INTERIOR. left room has large open fireplace. Partitions between 2 ground-floor rooms have been removed. Exposed axial beams and joists.
