Description

Seifton Court is a house dating from the 18th century, with earlier fabric. It is constructed of sandstone rubble, with a plain tile roof incorporating older tiles, a brick cross-axial ridge stack, and a rendered end stack with a 20th-century brick top. The front elevation has two storeys and a two-window range. It features 18th-century three-light casement windows in altered openings. To the right is a blocked rubble opening. A dormer window has a 20th-century two-light casement. A restored gabled porch with a 20th-century plank door and lights to the returns is present. The ground floor has a 20th-century three-light casement, a two-light casement, and two blocked openings, all under a hood moulding. Another three-light casement is on the right return. The return side also contains a 4-light casement, a 17th-century timber-framed gable with painted brick infill, a blocked opening under a hood moulding, and a fixed light to the ground floor. A wing to the rear is brick-built, with a brick end stack, and scattered fenestration. The interior of the building was not inspected.
