Description
Culmington Farmhouse is a mid-19th century farmhouse built from squared sandstone rubble, featuring a plain tile roof and brick end stacks. The building has three storeys and a three-window range. The central window is a 3/3 sash in a moulded case, set under an ashlar ogee-head, and is flanked by similar sashes under ashlar segmental arches. Above, there are smaller sashes that match the lower windows. The eaves are adorned with a brick dentilled band. The central entrance consists of a six-moulded-panel door in a painted oak frame, complete with an ogee-headed overlight and an ashlar head, flanked by 3/3 sashes in moulded cases under ashlar segmental arches. At the rear, there is a single-storey wing made of rubble with a plain tile roof and a cross-axial brick ridge stack. The front of this wing has four small gables, two of which are over advanced bays, and it features various 19th-century windows and metal casements. The interior has not been inspected.
