Description

Church Cottage is a former schoolmaster's house, now a residential home, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with a plain tile roof, featuring a brick stack at the end and another stack to the left rear.

The exterior comprises two storeys and has a two-window range with casements that include leaded lights. A central plank door is set within a simple porch and is flanked by 20th-century casements. To the left, there is a lean-to structure with weatherboarding over stone rubble and a corrugated iron roof. The rear of the building features two 19th-century two-light casements and two stone tablets commemorating W Frost, who died in 1808, and Ann Frost, who died in 1810.

The interior has not been inspected.
