Description
The coach house and stables at Delbury Hall date from the 18th century and are constructed of brick with a hipped plain tile roof. The building features a gable parapet on the right side and has two brick ridge stacks, with one being from the 20th century. An arcaded wooden bellcote with a moulded cornice sits atop a lead pavilion roof, which is adorned with a ball finial and an ornate wrought-iron weather-vane.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a seven-window range. On the left, there are 8/8 sash windows, while the 19th-century cross-windows are found in an advanced bay that includes storey bands beneath a brick modillioned stone-coped pediment featuring a clock. The ground floor has cross-windows, as well as blind and blocked openings, all set under segmental arches. The rear of the building is made of rubble and includes two 8/8 sash windows and five casements, along with brick modillion eaves, a plank door with a casement overlight, and various stable doors and windows.
The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of a notable group centered on Delbury Hall.
