Description

Bush Cottage is a cottage dating from the early to mid 17th century. It features a timber frame that is three panels deep, with brick infill from the late 18th to early 19th century. The gable walls are constructed of limestone rubble with brick quoins, topped by a gabled plain tile roof and a brick end stack. The cottage has a two-unit plan and consists of one storey and an attic, arranged in a two-bay range. There is a window to the right of a central 20th-century plank door. Inside, the cottage includes plain joists, stop-chamfered beams, and a two-bay trenched purlin roof.
