Description

Lower Harcourt is a medieval timber-framed house. It has square panels filled with brick nogging. The south front features a one-storey-plus-attic section to the right, with a modern casement window, a doorway, and a gabled dormer. To the left is a two-storey gabled cross-wing with modern casement windows on both floors; it has straight diagonal bracing and a jettied upper floor. The north front mirrors the south front, but the gabled wing has a jettied first floor and a jettied gable. The house has heavy timbers and tiled roofing. It is described as being well-restored and picturesque.
