Description

This is a late 18th-century house, now used as shops, located on Old Street in Ludlow. The front elevation is roughcast brick with a shallow-pitched Welsh slate roof and a brick end stack on the left side. The two-window front features 8/8 sash windows with cambered heads. A central moulded four-panel door is set within a pilastered case and hooded surround with moulded pilasters. To the right is a late 19th-century 2/2 sash window in a moulded case with a stone sill, and to the left a late 20th-century window with a stone sill. The roughcast left-hand gable, facing Pepper Lane, has two windows with cambered heads.

A roughcast wing to the rear has a stuccoed gable, a plain tile roof, and a brick ridge stack. This wing is two storeys and has a cellar, with a two-window range featuring late 20th-century casements, the one on the left having a cambered head. Brick modillion eaves are present. The rear wing includes a late 20th-century door, a C20 metal casement with a cellar opening, a late 20th-century plank door with a blocked overlight, a single light with a timber lintel, and a plank door leading to the cellar.
