Description
Number 21 is an 18th and 19th century house and attached garden wall. The earliest part of the building is an early 18th century garden house or gazebo, to which an additional range was added in the early 19th century. The original block is two storeys high, with a narrow two-window front and a hipped roof. It features stone quoins and renewed 12-pane sash windows with cambered arched heads on each floor. A heavy overhanging eaves cornice with modillion details is also present. A lower addition to the left, also two storeys high and with a basement, adjoins the original building. It has a pedimented door case to the right and sash windows on each floor. A length of brick garden wall is attached to the pavilion on the right.
