Number 68 on Cartway is an 18th-century building, with its core likely dating back to the 17th century. The exterior is roughcast and features two sash windows with cambered heads. The plain doorway is topped by a small hood and includes a six-fielded panel door with steps leading up to it. The building has two gabled dormers and plain eaves, with a roof covered in machine tiles. Numbers 51 to 68 on Cartway form a group with numbers 40 to 42 on River Side.
