Description
The Black Boy Public House is an early 18th-century building located on Cartway in Bridgnorth. It is constructed of painted brick and stands two storeys high, featuring four sash windows set in broad frames with enriched keyblocks and painted flat brick arches. The building has quoins, moulded stone eaves, and two gabled dormers that retain their original glazing, topped with old tiles. The ground floor has a subtle 19th-century inn front. The Black Boy Public House is part of a group with Nos 51 to 68 and Nos 40 to 42 on River Side.
