Description

This is a headstone commemorating Mary Cheese, who died in 1722. It is located 13 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Milburga in Stoke St Milborough. The headstone dates from the early 18th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. It features a rectangular slab set vertically, with a plain inscribed panel and an ornamental carved head.
