Description

There are two lead water tanks located in the grounds to the rear of the Library. The tanks date from 1737 and 1787. Both are made of lead and feature low relief decoration. The earlier tank has swags, dolphins, and Tudor roses, while the later tank is adorned with lions rampant and Tudor roses.
