Stable Block Approximately 8 Metres To North West Of Yeaton Lodge

This stable block, built around 1815, is located approximately 8 metres to the north-west of Yeaton Lodge. It is constructed of red brick with some dressed red sandstone and features slate roofs. The building is designed in an L-shape and has two storeys. Notable architectural details include a dentil brick eaves cornice and a long range with five boarded doors, some of which have segmental heads, while others feature rectangular overlights. The return range to the north-east is distinguished by lozenge-shaped vents. At the south-west end, there is a three-storey square tower that has glazing bar sash windows on the first and second floors facing the garden, topped with a pyramidal roof and a weathervane. This stable block is included for its group value with Yeaton Lodge.
