BOMERE HEATH C.P. B 5067 (south-west side) SJ 41 NE 6/70 Stable block approx. 8 - metres to north-west of Yeaton Lodge

GV II

Stable block. Circa 1815. Red brick with some dressed red sandstone. Slate roofs. L-plan. 2 storeys. Dentil brick eaves cornice. Long range with 5 boarded doors, some segmental headed and some with rectangular overlights. Return range to north-east with lozenge-shaped vents. 3- storey square tower at south-west end, with first-and second-floor glazing bar sashes towards the garden, and pyramidal roof with weathervane. Included for group value.
