Description

This is a Regency-era building on the north side of Much Wenlock High Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of stucco. The front features two projecting bays with a moulded wooden bay window. A recessed entrance is accessed by steps, and features a segmental head. Plain pilasters are located on either side of the entrance. The roof is hipped and tiled. Number 40, along with numbers 40 to 45 (consecutive), the Fox Hotel, and numbers 47 to 49 (consecutive), form a group.
