Description

These are two Regency-era buildings, numbers 42 and 43 High Street, Much Wenlock, constructed in the 18th century using amber-coloured brick. The building is two storeys high and has six original casement windows. Number 43 features a small, double-fronted bow window, along with a moulded wooden doorcase. Identical doorcases are also present at number 42, although one has been blocked and replaced with a window. The building has brick eaves and old tiles. Numbers 40 to 45 (inclusive), the Fox Hotel, and numbers 47 to 49 (inclusive) form a group.
