Description

The Old Vicarage is a late 18th century building located on the south side of Much Wenlock High Street. It is constructed of red brick and stands three storeys tall, featuring three sash windows. The entrance is highlighted by a moulded wood doorcase with an open pediment and a segmental fanlight above it. The building has plain eaves and a steeply-pitched hipped roof, with a chimney stack positioned at the center. Additionally, there are slightly later wrought-iron gates and railings. The Old Vicarage is part of a group that includes Nos 9 to 34 (consecutive) and the Gaskell Arms Hotel.
