Description
The engine house, built in the mid-19th century, is constructed from roughly coursed limestone rubble and features stone angle quoins and a graded slate roof. It has a rectangular plan and consists of four levels. The west gable end includes flat-headed openings with timber lintels on each floor, with similar openings present on the other sides. To the north, there are remains of a boiler house, and to the east, an open shaft. Inside, king-post trusses are still visible in the roof.
