Description

This is a sundial located approximately 4 metres south of the south-westerly Chapel Lawn Farmhouse in Chapel Lawn, Clun. It is likely from the 18th century and made of sandstone. The sundial features a square-section shaped baluster stem with a moulded base and capping that supports a square dial plate. The inscription on the sundial is illegible, and the gnomon was damaged at the time of the last survey in October 1984.
