Description

This is a milepost located approximately 200 metres northeast of the Bridgewater Arms, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and has a triangular section with a chamfered top and beaded corners. The milepost features superscribed serif lettering, indicating "SALOP/6/MILES" on the left side and "WEM/4/MILES" on the right side. The Bridgewater Arms itself is not included in this listing.
