Description

37 Watergate Street is an early to mid-19th century building with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick and stands three storeys high. The front elevation features three sash windows with plain lintels, and two rectangular bay windows with cornices supported on coupled brackets. A wooden pilaster doorcase is topped with a plain rectangular fanlight and a cornice hood on coupled brackets. The building has plain eaves and is roofed with slates. It is listed for its group value.
