Description

61 Vicar Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of painted brick. It stands two storeys high and features three sash windows, although the central window is currently blocked. The ground storey windows have engraved lintels, and the central window has been added in imitation of a former pedimented doorcase. There is a blind angular bay on the left-hand side, and the eaves have been restored. The building has a hipped slate roof and has undergone significant alterations, but it is included in the listing for its group value with Nos 61 to 63, which form a cohesive group.
