SO58NW ASTON MUNSLOW 1312-1/11/144 Privy and garden wall 13 metres north of Aston Hall

Privy and attached garden wall. C18. Coursed stone rubble, stone rubble garden wall with brick coping. Corrugated sheet roof with moulded oak bargeboards to front gable. Square-plan privy set at north-west end of garden wall which then encloses a courtyard on north-west side of Aston Hall (qv). EXTERIOR: front gable-end with moulded oak door frame with plain boarded door with moulded ledge. Opposing ogee-chamfered oak windows in side walls. Rear gable with 2 stone round-arched openings at low level. INTERIOR: range of 3 softwood seats with hinged lids. Single purlin and ridge roof.
