Description

Bank House is a farmhouse, now a house, appearing late 18th century, and possibly incorporating fabric from an earlier building, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of painted brick with stone-capped square angle piers, a plain tile roof, and external end stacks. The building has an L-shaped layout, with a tall gabled range at a right angle to the rear on the right side. The eaves have been raised to the front, with the former roof line visible on the left gable end. The house has three storeys and a three-window front. The windows are late 20th-century casements, set within late 18th-century segmental stone surrounds. A central entrance features a six-panel door with a rectangular overlight, sheltered by a flat-roofed porch.
