Description

The Horseshoes is a house that now operates as an inn. It was built in the early 19th century and has undergone later additions and alterations. The building is made of rendered brick and features plain tile roofs with raised verges on the main section and end stacks. It stands three storeys tall and has a three-window front, with flush-framed glazing bar sash windows that have 16 panes on the ground and first floors. The central entrance consists of a recessed six-panel door, with the top panels being glazed and accompanied by a rectangular overlight. There are single- and two-storey service wings on the left and right sides, respectively, both of which also have glazing bar sashes.
