Description

A terrace of five houses dating to around 1840, located in Shrewsbury. The houses are constructed of brick, with some areas painted and stuccoed, and have a Welsh slate roof. The terrace is three storeys high with a basement, and features a seven-window front. The design is symmetrical, with a central doorway and flanking windows, and paired doors with windows on either side. The central door has four panels, with a lozenge-shaped window above, though the overlight has been replaced. The other windows are 12-pane sashes with flat arches, and the outer windows have flat stone arches with keystones. Blind windows are positioned above the paired doorways. A moulded cornice runs along the eaves. The building has gable and axial stacks. Spearhead-patterned iron railings set on a stone plinth define the basement area and the steps leading to each house.
