Description

Sheet Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge, likely built as an entrance feature to Sheet House. The lodge is constructed of stucco, with a Welsh slate roof featuring hipped, splayed ends, and a central brick ridge stack. It is a single-story building with a two-window front. The windows are 2-light casements with decorative ogee arches over the lights. A 20th-century plywood door with a multi-paned overlight is recessed within a porch supported by two stone columns and flanked by two pilasters, with canted returns and boarded soffits. A low, rubble leanto is attached to the left side.
