Description
This is a scalloped basin located approximately 3 meters north of the tower of the Church of St Mary and St Andrew. The basin is made of sandstone and dates from an indeterminate period, likely the late 16th century or 17th century. It features a wide scalloped design set on a moulded stone base, which may have originally been a capital. The origin of the basin is unknown, but it is possibly linked to the nearby Condover Hall.
