Description

This is a slab tomb located 3 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Edith in Eaton Under Heywood. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of ashlar. The tomb features an inscribed stone slab with moulded edges, plain panels, and carved corner piers. It commemorates John Corfield, who died in 1735, and John Corfield, who died in 1745.
