Description

This is a terrace of three houses located in Princess Street, Shrewsbury, dating from around 1800. The buildings are constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof, and the ground floor is finished with channelled stucco, featuring pilasters that highlight the party wall between numbers 11 and 12. The terrace is three storeys high and features a seven-window facade. An archway leads to a passage on the left, flanked by a pair of tripartite sash windows and six-panelled doors with overlights. A wide archway to the right provides access to the rear. Above the ground floor are sash windows with 16 panes, each with a flat-arched head made of gauged brick. Number 12 includes an extra, non-functional window space in the centre of its facade. Number 13 has a side entrance and features four-pane sash windows. The buildings have high parapet eaves and both gable and axial stacks.
