Description

No. 45, High Street, Shrewsbury, is a commercial building dating to 1823. It is constructed of painted brick with a Welsh slate roof. The building is four storeys high and has a two-window front. A shop front was inserted in the late 20th century. Above the shop front are sash windows with 12 panes of glass, each with a flat-arched head of gauged brick. A string course runs along the front at the level of the second floor. The building features a moulded eaves cornice and the date 1823 is inscribed on the rainwater head.
